Faith deepening takes place both formally and informally. The Transition Team starts off each meeting with a Spiritual Grounding session to ensure that discernment and decisions are made through a lens of faith. Each person takes a turn leading a session, which in turn develops leadership.
At various times throughout the year, we offer daytime or evening book and study groups, either on our own or through our connection with United Churches for Dartmouth. During Lent, Rev. Catherine MacDonald is offering a Study Group based on the book How We Learn to Be Brave by Bishop Mariann Budde. This takes place in the church hall at 183 Portland Street starting Wednesday March 12th @ 10:30 am.
