It’s Palm Sunday this week, the scripture reading is Mark 11: 1-11; my reflection title is Two Parades/Two Visions. While Jesus was making his way into Jerusalem, there was another parade at the opposite end of the city. Two parades, two visions. The same thing is happening in our province. There are two visions of what the province is to become. As I write this, I just discovered that Province House and the legislature are closed to all visitors! This is in response to singing last night as a vote was attempted.
Last Sunday we held our Annual Congregational Meeting as part of our worship service; Chair Debra Keays-White and Secretary Jackie Clark led us skillfully through all of the business portions of the meeting.

Following the service on Sunday, there will be a soup lunch and I’ll be making a presentation about my trip to Kenya. There will be a freewill offering with the proceeds going to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. It was an amazing trip, a dream that I’ve had since I was 10 years old, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.
My week, as always, is full. All good things, ministry is never boring.
