We continue with the Leonard Cohen series this week. The scripture readings are Isaiah 58: 6-10 and Psalm 36: 5-9; I’ve paired that with If It Be Your Will. You can listen to it below. My reflection title is Rags of Light, which is a line from the song. In this season of Epiphany, and light returning, I find myself drawn to passages that speak about God’s light and our light.
Remember last year when we wove prayers with ribbon during worship during one of the worship series we did? Well, I finally finished off the sides and we’ll use it as our pulpit hanging for the next little while. It will be a visible reminder of how we are woven together in prayer.
The folks from Workshop Wednesday gathered today over delicious food. On display are some of the bags that Marilyn Harris guided them in making last fall.
