The United Church is working on a new music resource: Then Let Us Sing! Voices United was published in 1996, More Voices in 2007; this new resource, which will be completely digital will encompass old favourites as well as music that reflects the changing face of Canada and our church and our commitment to justice, reconciliation and inclusion. Music forms us in ways that we can’t fully comprehend. The theme of worship this week is Our Faith in Song; it’s created around the United Church’s new Vision Statement: Deep Spirituality, Bold Discipleship, Daring Justice. You’ll hear from Debra Keays-White and Jennifer Adams about a favourite hymn and why they chose it. We are celebrating communion as well, so for those of you worshipping on-line with us, make sure you have something to eat and drink with us. There will also be an update from the Transition Team.
We are taking part in Open Streets Dartmouth this Sunday and we need cookies! If you can bring some cookies to give away on Sunday, that would be great!
